If you are a Catholic man—whether you’re 20, 70, or somewhere in-between—and you recognize that there is a dire need for today’s male teenagers to be empowered by a mature Christ-centered view of manhood, then you will find great meaning in serving the Church as a confrère.

As a Templars confrère, you will offer the brother templars support, encouragement, and valuable direction while providing an example of mature Christ-centered manhood for the brothers to strive toward. Your role also exists to support the priest/chaplain.

The young men in your charge are there to develop leadership skills. As you help them put important leadership lessons into practice, you also must hold the brothers accountable for their decisions, achieving their goals, and you must freely offer advice and provide counsel.

Your encouragement may be all that is required to change a young man’s life.

A confrère serves His Church by shaping young men for the better—and, in doing so, becomes a better man in Christ.
